A workshop full of tools and a fridge stocked with beers equals awesome ideas! That being said, operating a power tool while drunk isn't cool so be safe kids and drink responsibly. Shout out to Stella. We're also drinking Asahi at moment cause JDM.
After watching an old Mighty Car Mod episode, Matthew the owner of a MY11 Subaru Forester got inspired and reached out to see if we could help him out. First on the list was a set of Enkei 18x8.5 +42 5x100 RS05RR and set of Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 tyres. All raw plastic were then color coded along with an OEM Subaru Front under spoiler to give the front-end a more aggressive sportier look. To finish off, we lowered the Foresters ride height via a set of ajustable coil-overs that Matthew had purchased for it. The new ride height from the tyre to wheel arch measures 2inches (or if your speaking fingers, its a 3 finger gap).
The new wheels, tyres and coil-overs has completely changed the Foresters driving dynamics and now compliments the 2.5 turbo boxer motor. It's more nimble and rotates (turns in) nicely through a set of corners, with its only limiting factor now being its brakes (294mm rotor size), in our opinion they're undersized and for spirited driving we would recommend upgrading to WRX Brakes (326mm rotor size) or STI Brembo brakes for boss status.
It always looks better on her even if its a crummy old shirt or one of our Greaser white tees! We met up with the beautiful Rosa Fairy to bounce some ideas for the next shoot, and the next day we got this teaser pic! WE WANT MOARRR! =)
